What a team! The workshop on telemedicine in Berlin was a big success thanks to our partner site champions and the invaluable support of AFEM’s leadership. STAIRS will evaluate the implementation of telemedicine to enhance capacity and improve quality of care for critically ill sepsis patients in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Led by Dr. Emmanuel Nsutebu, president of the Africa Sepsis Alliance, STAIRS directors and PIs were honored to meet Dr. Raji Tajudeen at Africa CDC on December 15, 2023.

The first annual consortium meeting of the STAIRS consortium in Addis Ababa was graciously hosted from December 11-15, 2023, by Deputy Scientific Officer and STAIRS PI in Ethiopia Dr. Tafese Beyene Tufa, together with his strong team from Arsi University in Asella. A clear motto: #keepclimbing.
